New User - Error after Installing

I am getting this after message when trying to start the program after installing 4.6. I am a new user.
Does anyone know what it means and how to correct it?

    Is the DAZ Content Management System installed and running? If you are using Windows Vista or later, start Task Manager and check the Services tab; on XP click Start>Run type services.msc into the dialogue box to run the services applet.

    Yes it is running.

    I'm not sure, then, unless it failed to update. You could try stopping the CMS (there's a shortcut in the Start Menu>DAZ 3D>DAZ Content Managerment Service, then uninstall the CMS (also has a shortcut in Start) and then reinstall (if you have the Install Manager, go to C:\Program Files (x86)\DAZ 3D\DAZ3DIM1\cms to find the installer).

    Thanks for your input, I've tried the items you've suggested, but no success so far. I'll keep on looking.

    I was able to install the 32 bit version instead of the 64 bit. This isn't a great solution, but I guess it's a start.
