Removing backgrounds and adjusting cameras

Hi,

I have two quick questions I need help with.
When creating a scene, I sometimes have a blue background that appears in my rendered product and sometimes I get a render with just the character alone, which is what I want. Does anyone know how to set up a scene so that this blue background result is not part of the render? (not having the blue background makes it a lot easier to add a different background for post-work in photoshop).

Also, when adding a camera to a scene, is there a way to have that camera work the same way as the perspective view when using the obit cube feature? Whenever I'm looking through a camera view, I can't seem to use the orbit cube to rotate the camera around the figure like you can when viewing via perspective view.

Thank you for your help :)

If you save a render as a jpg file the background color in your DAZ Studio viewport renders in as part of the BASE image. If you save a render as a png file the background will be a alpha channel that is a clear layer in most art programs. I'm not sure that is your issue but mention it just in case.

The perspective camera view is auto centered (points at the axis) of any object selected in the scene tad at load time. When you create a camera you need to swap to its view and then select the item to orbit in the scene tab, then you might need to center on the object for the camera also. The PLUS with corners in the viewport will center the camera in use on any object selected and then orbit the object.
