Where are my new products??

Between the Install Manager and Unzipping it appears that files are installed all over the place. I have a hard time tracking down what I want when I'm in DAZ.

For example.

I have installed (via the Manager) the Eastern Beauty 2 "heads". I start with a Genesis figure. I can find the "heads" (i.e. the .dsf files) in the Content Library on the right-hand side but I cannot apply them to the Genesis model. There is nothing in the Smart Content indicating the Eastern Beauty items.

If I'm not mistaken the .dsf files are used to "colour/texture" a given object etc. I have no idea where to find the Eastern Beauty "objects" if that's the correct term.

It seems that depending on who makes what you have no control over where certain purchased items go, very confusing to a noob.

P.S. I did find the EB 2 files in Explorer but there was no way I could find them in the Content Library Files/Database section. I finally stumbled over the .dsf files by pure luck but as mentioned above I can't use them on my figure, nothing happens on double-click or drag.

HELP Please.

I think the morphs are sliders that you'll find in the Parameters tab.

All morphs, if installed properly, will appear in Parameters or Shaping when/if the proper part of the figure is selected. Note, not all morphs have a head only morph, or a body only morph. Some are FBM's or Full Body Morphs and only the one morph exists for that type. Textures, if for genesis, should be in the materials folder, maybe in the creators name or the figure name.

I too find the lack of a single style of folder creation a drawback. I would prefer all items be in the items name only or all items from one creator be just in their folder for the type of item it is. Thank goodness some PA's do follow that and I can always find items I buy from them easy. Until then I use Categories in DS so I know where all my items are at any given time.

The Content Library Tab> Products> area is also very useful. Check it if you have not tried it before.
