is it possible to set a different zero pose for a character?
I mean I have made a figure changing the proportions of the feet and I would like to make this figures 0 pose to be different than the regular genesis zero pose.

No, zero means zero - what you can do is Memorise a figure, pose, or shape then use Restore to put it back in that state - see the Edit>Figure sub-menu.

so if I make a morph for a werewolf (for example) I can't change the 0 pose to fit what should actually be the zero pose that I think that should be?

I'm not sure what you mean - yes, you can (and should) adjust the rigging to the shape of the morph if it moves body parts in such a way as to break posing, and a digitigrade werewolf probably would - and in that case yes, the zero pose would have the adjust positions of the joint centres (because joint centres aren't set by a "pose" as such). However, you couldn't make the zero pose apply a stooped posture if the morph wasn't made that shape, you'd have to do that my memorising the adjusted pose and then saving as a character preset.

do you have a link to a tutorial that explains how to do it?

The thread is about making morphs in clothing, but if you look here and the next post the process is explained http://www.daz3d.com/forums/viewreply/254575/

    thank you very much
I also found this one: http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/6483/
maybe I will export my character to hexagon and re-import it to daz... maybe that will do the trick....

No, adjusting the rigging - if that's what you want - is done in DS. Going to Hexagon and back won't do anything.

I was hoping that by doing that I could solve the 0 pose...

I think you need to explain exactly what you are doing, and why you want to adjust the zero pose (and what you mean by that).

I think they designed a Werewolf and want the figure to load in a pose is all. That could be done with just posing the figure and saving as a Scene subset if that is all they mean.

    I am building this figure:
    http://www.seiunozero.com.br/mighty-mouse.jpg

and I want that pose to be the figures zero pose.
from that I would like to set the limits for the "articulations"

I am not sure I explained it well... but I hope you guys can understand what I mean...

That is the Genesis Figure with Dialed in morphs, that will be the Zero Pose once all the proper morphs are dialed in. Just like the Anibus figure at load but with a different head. See?

That is a Morph for Genesis I just Dialed it in. The figure auto went into that pose.

The process I described above, adjusting the rigging to the shape, will do the job. If you want the limbs to be bent beyond the basic morphed shape them you need to use Memorise wit the pose applied, and then Restore instead of Zero, as described at the very top of the thread.

Yep, once the figure is rigged to fit the shape it should load into DAZ Studion in the same pose you saved the figure in. TIP: Rigging is a skill, and needs learned to get to your goal. To me buying morph sets that let me just DIAL (the sliders in Parameters and Shaping Tabs) are much faster. There are different sets I use to get creatures. Most of the shapes (morphs) can be dialed in on each part as needed but not all can be used that way. I'll try to make up a list of morphs you need to help Dial that figure you like. It might take me some time to collect them.

I used the Genesis Evolution and Genesis Creature Creator to make the changes on my figure...
but I still want to make some more changes on it... so that I can make it 100% custom...

Save the Figure as a Object file, Set it to BASE mesh first. Load it into any 3D mesh modeler. Do some custom Morph work, that means just move the mesh, do not ADD to the mesh or REMOVE from the mesh, just shape the mesh that loads. In DAZ Studio load your BASE figure that is rigged, then load the SHAPED object you saved from the Modeler. ADD the shape as a NEW morph.

this is exactly what I needed!!
thank you very much (and sorry for the late reply)
