What is this error message?
I am getting this when trying to manually install the Urban Shabby Chic for V4, and the Unimesh. What's the problem? (and the installation path is fine, the same as all my other manual installations) Did I grab a wrong file or something? (Using DS, not Poser.)

Never seen that one before.

Have you tried re-downloading and reinstalling the content?
Yep, it's a no-go. Only if I choose to skip it does the installation continue. I am going into the studio now to see if the products are there, but my version 4.6 has always been wonky. I usually have to reimport metadata, etc to get some things to show up. I'll check out your links in a minute, thanks :)

The first one of those links is well out of date (May 2012), and was about a different problem altogether, one that was current then but has been fixed for a very long time.
This error has come up a few times in threads, It is most likely caused by a corrupted download. Delete the downloaded file, clear your browser cache to get rid of the corrupted version and download it again.
you might try this as well
Set a test/swap/newfolder(name is irrelevant) on the desktop.
Drop the zip into it.
Decompress the file. i Prefer winrar or 7zip to the windows version.
Check if the particular file(!fbm) is showing as a 0k in there or if it tosses an error when you decompress.
If it is,does that, either the product is broken or the download broke at some point.
Redownload and try again.
If you do redownload and keep getting the same error.
Try restarting the system first.
Then if it's still tossing the error, might be time to submit a ticket regarding.
It looks more like a broken file then anything, with a 0Byte reference.
Out of curiosity, I just unzipped Urban Shabby Chic for V4, and in the Runtime > Libraries > Character > UrbanChic > NS folder, there are actually TWO cr2 files with 0K sizes.
The one you're having a problem with, !FBMInstructions.cr2, as well as !Instructions.cr2, Both these files are dated April 25, 2011, and I downloaded the Urban Shabby Chic files through DIM on April 27th of this year. I don't recall seeing any updates for them since then, so you may have to take out a support ticket.
Edited To Add: OK, I just installed Urban Shabby Chick for V4 in DS 3A without a problem. I unzipped the files to a dummy folder on my desktop and then copied them over to the appropriate folders in my DS 3A Runtime. I didn't get any kind of error message.
I also realize now why those two .cr2 files are 0K in size. The matching .png files are instructions on what to do, so the .cr2 fies are just there so the .pngs will show up in your Content Library.
Oh and I loaded up V4 and the skirt and blouse from the outfit and there were no problems, so what exactly were you doing to "manually" install this outfit that gave you an error?
Edited To Add, Again: OK, did a render and had absolutely no problems with any of the files.
I had just downloaded and installed so it was the most recent version, it was after I was extracting the files (using windows 7, you can not just drag and drop, there was a thread about that but don't remember the specifics- Szark had mentioned not having the need to extract and then it had been discussed that Windows 7 had issues with that for some reason.) So the files were extracted and it was when I was moving them to the My Library.
And thanks everyone-(particularly Miss B, appreciate you doing all that.) I went into my C directory to the (users/Cathie/blah blah blah and did a search for this outfit (Daz3d>Studio) and the only thing that came up was the readme! Sheesh. I can't delete the file because I haven't found it yet, but I'll go look.
There's probably a zero-byte file in the zip (a dummy .pz2 to display a .png with instructions, for example). Submit a ticket to tech support -- Jen Greenlees is fixing all the PC items she comes across with this problem. In the interim, use a third-party unzipper -- I like 7zip, which is free.
