edited December 1969 in Art Studio

This is a quick short that I put together. A father and son playing catch, with a twist at the end.

When you say "quick", I expect it took ages :) - very nice animation.

Thanks you 2! Yeah, it was not quick at all. Just the render time for the last scene was like 8 hours. It probably took me a good 20-30 hours, if you count the 2 different mocap recording sessions, plus the processing and clean up before they even got into Daz. It's alot of work for less than 1 minute of animation. oh, and I'm not even really counting the render times.

Good work. Sort of a cross between "Calvin & Hobbes" and "America's Funniest Videos".

What did you use to record the mocap?

Nice work! Maybe you should send it in to, You've Been Framed :)
They pay £250 for every clip they show. UK - ITV.

Like the twist at the end.

    Good animation.

I wonder if the whole thing needs to be played a bit faster. 20%? it seemed (a little) in slo mo. Just an observation.

    Thanks for the replies every1!!!

@Sci Fi Funk - You might be right. The motion capture is motion capture, so I think the timing is right there, but the ball movement might be a bit slow. Thanks for the input.
