hello fellowship,

it might be a bit to early for me as a beginner. but i like to play a bit with zbrush

somewhere in the forum i have read that there is a trial available

but it had been taken off of the site of pixellogic

to buy it is for now not an option

any ideas how to get a trial though?

thanks
o.

ps: i assume that hexagon is not a potent option, is it?
i am working on a 64 bit macintosh
if i like to try i need to use hexagon 2.0, right?
would 2.5 not work or not work properly?

Hexagon has sculpting, as does Blender (free). Sculptris, also from Pixologic, is a free sculpting application.

will it not work or work with some issues?

is hexagon 2.0 way worse? if not it´s possbly an option?

I'm not sure of the current Mac OSes supported by hexagon, no. Sorry.

    Hello,

the latest Hexagon, 2.5.1.79 works perfectly on OS X 10.6+
It is an intel-32 bit application but as you probably is aware of, Mac OS X don't suffer from any problems using 32-bit and 64-bit applications on the same OS.
