Trouble installing LDP-R

So, I got the latest version of LDP-R (for Mac) and it doesn't load into Photoshop!

I download the LDP-R (Mac) with the Dim installer and the smaller file LDP-R (Photoshop) manually (no other way). The problem is that even with the .atn file sitting in the Actions folder, it doesn't show up in the Actions menu. All 8 rendered files open in PS as separate files and I need to create a new file and place them individually as layers (not pretty!). And none of the filters were included.

In the downloaded (PS) folder was a Manifest.dsx file, separate from the folder with the .atn file. What is that file and where does it go?

LDP-R seems to work well enough in DS but not at all in PS6, which is the reason I got it in the first place.

I've looked all over to see if there is some step I missed in the install process. A txt file with basic instructions would have helped... : (

Has anyone encountered this?

I don't have LDP-R, but try going into Install Manager, clicking the gear at top-right to get to preferences, then going to the Applications tab, and clicking the + button to add a new application - select the version of Photoshop you have from the drop down, then select teh path to the application (not the plug-ins folder). Try uninstalling and reinstalling LPD-R.

I installed it on Mac OS X without a problem, but there is something in the documentation you should note.

Open Photoshop, locate the Actions Window (if it's closed, open it with Windows→ Show Actions). Click on the small arrow at top right of the Actions Window and choose Load Action. Choose the Dreamlight LDP-R.atn file and click on Load

Btw, the documentation pdf is linked from the READ ME

Richard, did as you suggested with the install manager and it worked without having to uninstall!
Totte, I actually clicked on the "i" icon in the install manager as you sent me the link and the Actions window now has the folder.

Thanks guys - you never disappoint!
