The simplest way would be to use the Hexagon/DAZ Studio bridge. Send your newly created object to DAZ Studio by selecting it in Hexagon, then go to File > Send to DAZ Studio.

What are you trying to achieve exactly? What problems are you having?

If you cannot use the Bridge for some reason, then export from Hexagon as Wavefront OBJ, and Import into DAZ Studio.

Thank you so much for your help :) The Daz Bridge in my Hexagon doesnt seem to work but I followed your advice to export it as a Wavefront object first and then to import it from Daz 3d. It worked! so here is my very first rendered image of a 3D sculpture I made in Hexagon! :)
    Thanks again.

ps. There is still one thing that changed in my Daz 3d that I miss. I used to be able to open a backdrop 2d picture and it used to automatically cover the whole backround but now when I open a backdrop it just sits in the backround as just a photograph and doesnt span the whole backround scene. Maybe you too woukd know about this setting. I'm sure I changed it myself by mistake.!

All Background images will auto fit to your RENDER size settings. As that is what it was designed to do. For it to fill your Viewport set your render size to Active Viewport in the Dimensions in the Render Settings Menu.
