    You need to install it

So the best idea would be to download it with install Manager?

Yes download with DIM and install. It will put it where it is suppose to go unless you changed the file locations. It should get getting installed into C:\Users\Public\Documents\My DAZ 3D Library. which is the default for DIM. If you changed and told DIM to install into my Library then install it into there.

Install just means extract the files from the zip - the Install Manager will do that for you, and is more reliable, but you can unzip manually.

I can extract the files. But where to?

The things that are in the Content folder in the zip should be placed in your content directory - \DAZ 3D\Studio\My Library in your Documents folder most likely. In Windows you can just open the zip, or extract to an temporary location, and then select everything in the Content folder and drag it to the My Library folder, saying yes when asked if you want to merge; on a Mac it is fiddlier and for that I would strongly suggest using the DAZ Install Manager to do the job for you. Note that the Install Manager defaults to placing files in the My DAZ 3D Library folder in your Public/Shared Documents folder - both locations should work with recent installs of DAZ Studio, but if you've had DS installed for a while 9even if you've been updating it) you may need to add the new location as a content directory.

Were abouts in My library? In Data, Scene or script? or just in my library?

Just in My Library - the Data folder in the zip merges with the Data folder in My Library, the Runtime folder in the zip with the Runtime in My Library and so on. That's why it's fiddlier for Mac users as they can easily end up replacing the old folder with the one from the zip, removing all their existing content, but on Windows merging is the default.

So, unzip the Genesis pack and place in My Library folder?

Place the contents of the "Content" folder in the My Library folder - you don't want to keep the folder called Content.

Yes, if they are in Poser or DAZ Studio Format then it's the same - the Data and Runtime folders get mergd with the existing Data and Runtime folders, and any other folders alongside the Data and Runtime folders also drop into My Library (and merge with the existing folders, if any). Zips from other sources may have additional folders before you hit the Data etc. folders, or they may have the Data etc. folders at the top level of the zip - there isn't, sadly, any hard-and-fast rule.
