Material to be thicker and more hairy

i tried sheer greatness, but does not look nice. I look at tutorial and google alot cant get how to set the vetvet hair to be softer, longer, thicker. I would appreciate if someone sould help on the setting please.

P/S: my socks is up to the shorts LOL, i cant seems to get it off. i tried visibility too.

    you will need to look and the bump and or the displacement settings and see about increasing them to get more of an effect you are talking about.

    Velvet is just a look, style thing. Its not for FUR type looks. It will not do what a full fur shader will.
