In 4.5, yes M5 is under My Library > People > Genesis > Characters

M5 is a morph for Genesis and must be installed to the same library as Genesis.

Just for clarification - generation 3 figures (Michael 3, Victoria 3 etc.) are standalone figures. So are generation 4 figures (Michael 4, Victoria 4 etc.). But generation 5 figures (Michael 5, Victoria 5...) are not standalone, they are all morphs for the Genesis figure (which is since the appearance of Genesis 2 a few months ago called Genesis 1). Genesis 1 is a very versatile figure that can be morphed into anything - male, female, child, monster. The newest generation 6 figures (Victoria 6, Gia etc., no Michael so far) are morphs for a figure called Genesis 2 Female. This newer Genesis is once again gender-specific as older pre-Genesis figures were, and a Genesis 2 Male is probably in the works.

If you haven't already, be sure to download the 'Genesis Starter Essentials' bundle in your account. It's necessary to use M5 because, as has been pointed out, M5 is actually just a morph and skin for the freely included Genesis mesh. The benefits to having a unified mesh are significant however, since you have the ability to mix and match clothes across all generation 5 figures (and indeed fourth generation thanks to autofit) as well as combining character and proportion morphs for all body types. It's Genesis' main selling point.

No my friends, you not understand me, what I complain is that the auto "3D DAz install manager" is placed in a folder in another hard disk (far away) from all my files in DAZ 3D but NOT the folder itself, I mean, create a folder on OTHER hard disk so you do not communicate my files and therefore can not be read from the program DAZ 3D 4.6

    (i hate google translator!!)

If you prefer to post in your native language, we may be able to find someone who can translate (better than Google).

The Install Manager is optional...if you prefer, you can download the files yourself from My Account>Product Library: http://www.daz3d.com/downloader/customer/files/

If you do use the Install Manager, you can change the install location to whichever folder you like. Instructions on doing that are here: http://www.daz3d.com/forums/viewreply/401722/ (look at the other posts in that thread too...depending on what you would like to do, there is information there that may be able to help).
