[Daz3D 4.10 won't open anymore -- hangs up in Building Interface] So the title says it all, with the log.txt file providing no assistance:

I've changed nothing on this PC, and all my other graphics programs run just fine.  I uninstalled 4.10, reinstalled twice (once on its own, another through Install Manager) with no luck.  Any ideas?  This really sucks.

  • Is Building Interface what the spalsh screen is showing? What security software are you running.

It just hangs on "Building Interface" with the "normal" splash screen (with NVidia IRay at the top and the group of folks standing dramatically).

I'm running the same security software I always have run -- Malwarebytes (I also think I have Defender turned on).  Nothing has changed that I know of.

I turned off MWB for the Daz program and it made no difference.

  • How long are you leaving it? Or is it actually crashing (to desktop, or to an error dialogue)?

  • Can anyone help me out here? I'm experiencing the same issue reported here and can't find documents that could solve it. My AV is Panda + Windows Defender, My OS is Windows 10.  DAZ used to work fine here but I starting to get this error after I migrated the DAZ contents to another location.

    Please H-E-L-P!!!!!!
