More fun with the new vehicle. I have decided I will do a series of day-to-day-life scenes from Boyd's POV.
In the future with the aid of special chips, people can see virtual reality, and information about people they encounter, in realtime. Boyd can view this reality all the time, with his enhanced senses. Owen prefers reality, but can switch the chip on when he needs it.
Sgt. Owen Kelly, and his troops are just one of dozens of similar drop ships deployed to the Forbidden Zone. Unfortunately, the carrier is hit, forcing the pilot to perform an emergency landing.
The ship's interior camoflage is the result of the ship's defensive holographic camo kicking in.
That's awesome render
These are great!
This is a fairly dark scene. I wanted to do an imitation of a pulp magazine cover. In the scene the hero was in the Africa and a pack of hyenas was attacking. The hero was firing from the hood of the truck, while the driver was being menaced by a hyena coming through the window.
Since I like hyenas, I wanted to use something different, so decided on Josh Crocket's Cassius HD. I thought Cassius was a really cool critter, it takes dog's poses okay, although it really does need to have it's own pose set since it has some different anatomy. The only thing I had difficulty with is Cassius' little feet. They are cute and petite. . The rear paws almost look a bit hoof-like.The feet give it an elegant alien appearance but do not have the menace I was hoping for. Fortunately, Cassius's jaws really make up for that.
Thank you!
This is great! It would be fun to put it through a filter to make it look hand drawn and painted-and put a flashy title so it really does become a'pulp 'cover.
Feel free to mess with it if you like. I uploaded this version, without the fireballs.
I really didn't like the dog's rear feet. Tried hard to conceal that they were kind of wonky...
Owen runs into his hot ex, in the locker room.
Poses are from DZheng's latest set: DZ G8M FashPoses - Looking Back
I rather like this old locker room. I repurposed it with iray shaders, and added a puddle on the floor and some towels and soap.
On the subject of newly released male characters, here is Zeno for Elios 8. Of the new characters in the Elios 8 pack, this one is my favorite.
Elios 8 HD
I don't think I care for his face. Especially the brows. But he seems okay dialed into other figures. His skin is a bit ruddy.
Cormac for Elios 8. Another great looking figure.
I really think Hinkypunk's characters are really great. This is Orrin HD for Elios He comes with so hair, facial hair, and body hair. His eyebrows are really nice too. https://www.daz3d.com/orrin-hd-for-elios-8
And here is Ercole... I think this rounds off the list of Elios 8 figures.
Here is Elios 8 HD base. With his standard Aquaman-style hair and beard. Drago Hair & Beard.
I recently got to mess around with RawArt's parasite character. This is a fun model, with a lot of personality. I really like the tongue. His original skin is the dark one. The blue Parasite has Ozia's skin. He takes the skin of other characters really well. Tongue Control, really helps make the tongue really work. So if you buy this, you'll want something to give more versatility to the tongue and a tongue control product is your answer.
He has no genital materials, so if you want one, you can try putting the chest torso texture in his anatomical Element texture , or use a skin like Ozias which does have gen material.
This was a cute idea- a his and hers clothing set. Of course, the shirts were for a hetero couple, but it was easy enough to apply the female phrase to both Boyd and Boydette. The ruffled skirt is an odd wardrobe choice with a t-shirt, but Boydette can wear anything. Boydette looks rather cute here. I'm surprised how nicely Boyd's skin works on her.
Boyd's shorts are fairly nondescript in this color. I wish the shirt and outfits had actual textures so they could have more complex graphics.
It was pointed out that my Cormac render did not have the correct head applied. Here is the correct head to match the gorgeous body. My apologies.
Here's today's new release: Demon Dog HD https://www.daz3d.com/demon-dog-hd-for-daz-dog-8
Someone wanted an image of it snarling, so figured others might want to see it.
Owen and Boyd celebrate Pride Month. =-)
Owen encounters Elios and Parasite in the shower having a fight! Ron's slime helped to add some moisture drops to Parastie's cool tongue.
After watching Elios flounder a while, Owen decides to engage parasite.
I hope the "watching for a while" wasn't because Owen enjoyed seeing Elios struggle. He looks a bit pale in the parade picture, I think. Has he been getting enough sunshine and vitamins lately?
Owen would’ve handed the parasite quick, but Elios insists he’s got a handle on The tongue creature. He keeps insisting but is too proud to admit defeat. Owen intervenes at some point.
ya Owen is pale. He is naturally a fair skinned man of Irish descent, but is rebuilt by aliens at some point. They are blind and don’t understand our interest in pigment so the skin they use to remake Owen is super strong. Fine and soft, and also white and colorless. He gets a lot of ribbing about it in the barracks but Boyd likes it.
Oh my gosh, I want to do one of those cliche moments from the movies where I drop to my knees in front of you and say "Teach me."
But I won't, because that'd be ridiculous. Instead, I'll just ask: are you still using that same GTA photoshop action you mentioned on the first page of the thread, or something else?
Hi: Thanks for watching, I use the grand theft filter when I want that particular look. But most of the time, I just render it it Studio and touch it up a bit using: Topazlabs which is free and downloadable here: https://topazlabs.com/downloads/#studio
Love seeing the three colors of skin here- and I have to mention that this is such an amazing composition- the perfect diagonals and x set up of motion and architecture to put Owen right in the center!
Thanks! You’re not the first to mention that Topaz plugin, which I downloaded a demo of but need to play with more
Aww thanks! I wanted Owen to have a prominent position in the image, and I'm glad it worked. =-)
It is free, so that is a real plus. I also like Nik collection, which is no longer free, but was made by google.
