OK, this may be a silly question, but when you say it doesn't show up in the "content" folder, are you referring to the Content Tab in DS, or are you referring to the Smart Content Tab? DS 4.0/4.5/4.6 all have a Content Management System that displays all content containing metadata in the Smart Content Tab. I, personally, don't use it, but many folks do.

The reason I mention it is, not all products contain Smart Content, so they will show up in the Content Tab, but NOT in the Smart Content Tab.

    Just a thought, FWIW.

Can you post the links to the products you got from the store, as it easier to help you if we know what you are trying to install

Well for a start Biolight needs this product to work Required Products: Terrors of the Deep: Jellyfish

The Dystopia blocks are old products so may not appear in smart content.

Back to their question- GENESIS IS NOT LOADED. Genesis Essentials is, and still Genesis is not loaded.
They can worry about their products later- if Genesis isn't loaded and Gen Essentials is, we need to fix THAT problem or the rest of the content is going to be messed up too. I'd say re-install but I haven't a clue.

Sort of waiting to hear back from the Original Poster. All this can be fixed with just a little info. But the info is needed to proceed from this point.

Info Needed, What is the OS of the PC?
How was the Content installed? By hand or with DIM?
Has the Paths to content been assigned in the DAZ Studio Content Manager?
Has the Default Load scene been changed from the dsf to the new duf for Genesis?
Does the OP understand that all content is not Smart Content, and know how to find none Smart items?

All these factors come into play to solve the problem.

    With regards to Smart Content...

As mentioned, the only items which show up in that tab are ones which have something called 'metadata'. This is usually installed along with the product for the most part, but some older items don't have this necessary data because they were released before Smart Content was around. There are ways to remedy this, including a method to create your own Smart Content entries (link in my description to a tutorial if you're interested but be warned it might be a little advanced), but the easiest way to find content you're looking for is to look for the Product Library tab.

The Product :Library will show every installed item in a folder-style fashion, a bit like browsing your hard drive. Many of the older items will likely show up under 'Poser Format' since that's what Daz was originally built on and this includes the Dystopia sets. Look for them under 'Figures'. Also, to help you avoid later confusion, most older material sets are found under 'Pose' as opposed to the actual Material's folder. Tis strange, but that's just the way the cards fell I guess.

As for Genesis, if you're not getting any errors about 'Genesis.dsf' then chances are high that Daz Studio is simply not trying to load it in, whether it's installed or not. Try looking for it either in the Smart Content under Figures or under the Content Library in 'Daz Studio Formats -> My Library [or Content] -> People -> Genesis. If you've installed the Genesis 2 Female, you can also find her alongside Genesis in the People folder.

If you get stuck, just let us know and we'll help you from there.
