How does panel window looks like for a perfect sun light panel? before render?
Hi,
i get genesis 2, but genesis is very unpredictable.
Will you share a common setting for the genesis skin to look like day time?
I am not happy with my render, at times it looks glossy when i want it bright
like the sun light. i have few light settings, it is the skin which i have problem with.
it does not reflect the light.
thanks

I'm not sure what you are asking - a more accurate preview? Skin surfaces that react better to light? For the latter it might help to see an image, and what settings or material set you are using.
Was sort of not sure what the question was. Lighting or skin? A image really would help I think.
Hello Richard, Jaderail, sorry if i didn't put my question correctly. Yes correct,
1. Skin surfaces that react better to light for genesis.
2. How does the panel looks like before rendering to ensure that the rendering is perfect every time for diffuse and specular light. When i use specular, sometimes even when it is dark, it comes out beautiful but most of the time it is black like how the panel looks like.
I am hoping you guys could help on the universal setting for perfect sun shinny day, i really would appreciate it alot for this help.
thanks
Sorry need to add, outdoor sun light thanks
If you are rendering with only specular lights, things will look very strange. Specular only lights are meant to be used with other non-specular only lights to boost the specular lighting some.
What kind of lights are you using? Distant lights are intended to mimic outdoor sun light, but in the real world light will be scattered by the atmosphere, reflected off the ground and other objects. 3Delight does not model this so called "ambient" light. UberEnviroment 2 is the most straight forward way of adding ambient light, but it has a learning curve to figure out how to use it.
Hello Mark,
thanks for the reply. Specular light is weird by itself :-) Yes lighting is a big problem for me. I got the answer from David already. Don't know if i should share it here.
