New to 3D modeling: My first 5 renders

I wanted to get into 3D modeling for years, but I didn't know where to begin. I'd heard of Poser and ZBrush, but they were too expensive for me to take the plunge. I found out about DAZ from a banner ad! The rest is history!

I installed DAZ Studio about a month ago and I've been having a great time learning the software. I've bought a ton of stuff already from the store. I think I'm getting the hang of it!

I guess this is as good a time as any to post my 5 first renders:

The newest is on the top.

Nice work! hard to believe you've only been doing this a month. =-)Like them. Particularly the top bedroom one, the second one with the lovley window and the magical dragon scene.

    Nice job.

    Thanks!

Actually, a month and 2 days! Maybe I have the knack for this. I've always been artistic, but have never done 3D stuff before other than some simple objects in Google SketchUp.

I did some post work using Pixelmator.

Gorgeous renders. Really like the first one, detailed with serene lighting, great effect.

    Thanks.

The one I'm working on now is going to be EPIC!!! I have about 30 Victorias dressed in battle armor set up in a huge battle scene.
