At that time you would normally start using the program or your extensions.

If you can see that there are 0 items in the "ready to download" tab and 0 items in the "ready to install" tab then you should indeed be ready to close the program and fire up Daz Studio to either begin using your software or begin using your extensions.

The DAZ Install Manager (DIM), install content by default, into C:\Users\Public\Documents\My DAZ 3D Library, unless you changed it yourself?

If it is all installed there, then you have to tell DAZ Studio where to find it, by going to Edit > Preferences > Content Library > Content Directory Manager, and entering the path to the content as BOTH DAZ Studio and Poser Formats.

If you are new to DAZ Studio, and need further help, then I would suggest visiting the New Users Help Forum, and having a look at the stickied posts there, and ask any further questions that you have.

In fact I can move this thread over there for you if you like, so you can get help right from the start form people who are there to help New Users.

If you still need help getting DAZ Studio up and running, please let us know:

    - What OS are you using?
    - In the Install Manager, click on the "Installed" tab and either provide a screenshot or tell us what is listed there
    - Did you change any of the default install locations in the Install Manager?
    - At what point do you get stuck? Have you gotten DAZ Studio 4.6 to load but then don't know what to do? Or are you having trouble getting it to load?
