...OK new forum and already over two thirds of the first page in The Commons is overrun by Stickies.

    More than half the space is reserved for stickies, without counting the announcements. Its not really inviting to be honest. >:-(

    Also can we finally kill the "Latest News and Offers... " section? The commons always has the latest news and offers, so it is misleading to see only two topics there.

    But but but latest news and offers belongs in latest news and offers section. If more people get used to using it then there will be more room in the Commons for sticky posts, as all the important stuff will be in other forums.:coolsmirk:

    ...but when stickies on page one outnumber threads two to one in a forum that doesn't sort threads by newest post, and on which the search function is still non-functional, it is getting a bit ridiculous.


    Maybe they just need a separate Stickies forum.

    The problem is that DAZ has tried all of that and everyone didn't go to those forums. They don't tend to leave the Commons so it only makes seance to have them all in the Commons.

    ...so what is going to happen when the number of stickies exceeds 25? Will they spill onto page 2? After 50, page 3?


    If this is going to be the case development needs to get some of the other functions like search and thread sorting fixed a lot quicker than "soon".
