Did you MERGE the Runtime folder with the DS runtime folder? If not that is the error.

Inside the ZIP from Optitex, there is an EXE installer file, which is all you need. There is usually a UV Template as well, for making your own textures, but you don't have to have that for the item to work.

When you run the installer, make sure that it is pointing to the content library that you want to install it to. The Default is My Library if you install DAZ 3D content yourself, or My DAZ 3D Library if you use the DIM. Give the correct address to the installer, making sure that it ends in whatever library you use (My Library or My DAZ 3D Library)

I just tried this with the doctor coat for M4, and it went into Content Library > DAZ Studio Formats > My DAZ 3D Library > People > Michael 4 > Dynamic Clothing. The Material folder is one level down (although it loads with that one material anyway.

    See if that helps.

    EDIT:
    XPost Jaderail.

Can you give a link to the item you have downloaded, and I'll look at it for you.

Yes, it is a little confusing, even for me :)

There is a ZIP (content) inside a ZIP, so go into the content ZIP, and you should see 'Runtime, People and data' folder (ignore thumbs)

Drag and drop these files into your DS content folder, My Library or My DAZ 3D Library, whichever one you use. I can't remember if you are on a PC or Mac. If on a PC, it is OK to drag and drop these into the library folder, they will merge. If on a Mac, you need further advice.

The runtime only has textures, and it will merge OK, but wont be seen inside DS, same applies to the data folder, but under People, you will now have a Victoria 4 folder called Dynamic Clothing when you look in DS Formats in your Content Library pane.
