What are pending posts?


A search of the forum shows that this question has been asked, but not really answered (as far as the search results showed me). What are pending posts? What caused a post to go in there? Do they ever come out? Some posts seem to have been in that list for weeks.

    Pending posts, like the cake, are a lie. None of those posts are actually pending, as far as I can tell. Normally, that would be where posts go before they're approved by a moderator, but posts don't need to be approved by moderators, so... no idea why they appear on the list. (Note that the opening post of this thread is on the list, therefore those posts are still showing up in the forum, because I can reply to it.)

    Pending posts are those posts which have yet to receive any response, so by ThinMick posting a reply, the thread is no longer pending, but is now an active thread.
