A4 eye problem & Hip Problem

Hey Guys,
I have only been using 3d modeling programs for about 3 months. I have been able to figure most things out, but these two things have me lost. first the A4 eye problem, then the hip problem. So for A4 I load her & this is what I get. The hip problem is a character from Illusion Designs, They say it requires V4.2 & ++ morphs. I load V4.2, the add the ++ morphs, then load the character & I get this. Any ideas ?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks Roger

The A4 eye problem usually occurs if you have more than one V4 installed.

Do you have V4 installed to more than one runtime folder?

I purchased a few charcters from IDesign, so far no issues. Have you tried contacting support ? I alway's recieve a reply within few hrs, pertaining to questions about products. Give them a shot. Good luck :-)

    Hey Jimmy,
I have another V4 in an external runtime, not in the Poser runtime, is that the same thing ?

You can't have two copies of V4 installed. There is an initialise file that needs to be run during the install process, and you can't have V4 installed to two different places. You don't need two copies anyway, since DS can read the Poser Runtime format, and you can add a Poser runtime to your DS content folder.

You should really uninstall both versions, and reinstall to the runtime you want to keep V4 in.

    Hey Jimmy,
I will do as you advise, I would like to keep everything in my external runtime. I have a problem finding things in the Poser runtime. Do you think that's alright ?
    Thanks Roger

Yes, DS can read runtime folders from external drives.

As long as it is mapped as a DS and Poser Formats folder inside DS (Content Directory Manager), it should be found without a problem.
