Yes, the stuff you buy from the DAZ 3D store (including freebies you buy for $0) allows the commercial use of 2D rendered images and animations (with a limited exception for the Anne Marie Goddard Digital Clone for Victoria 3). Other freebies, such as those downloaded from links in the Freepozitory, may have other terms of use - you should check before using them in work that you might want to use commercially.
Richard thanks for a useful and concise answer. The EULA is kind of a beast of many words...lol. But for the SLOW among us (me) can you be more specific? Does this include DAZ ORIGINALS or do they fall under a different set of rules? Just want to make sure I completely understand in advance. Thanx in advance Wayne C.
Also should I or can I credit the creators and DAZ as the creators/originators of the props/scenes/people/ etc I might use? I would like to even if NOT required. How would I list "stuff" like that? A DAZ creation... IE models by... as seen on the website/link? And would I use the logo or what to indicate where it came from?
The answer applies to purchased content, unless it's noted as having a different EULA (as most software from third parties will, though that will rarely if ever prohibit its use in commercial work) or it has additional restrictions noted on the product page (as the Anne Marie Goddard Digital Clone).
Credit is not required, though I'm sure it would be welcome (and I'm sure the PAs would love to see their work used, if you can send them a link or post it to the forums).
Thank you for the PROMPT and useful reply. I wil do as suggested and thanks.
