Hey everyone! Hope you guys feeling well.

I have a problem and ive checked the forum for answers and tried their suggestions but it seems that everyone solves it but me... I cant change material/preset for neither hair or clothes. I click on aldora hair in the scene pane and then dubbelclick on material/preset icon and nothing happens. I dont have genesis selected only the hair. I have noticed that this problem also happens with clothing and skin. I have version 4.6.0.18, 64-bit... What can be the problem?

    The first seven materials are for the entire hair, the last seven are just for the bangs.

    Make sure that you are selecting one of the first seven mats, like Aldora01_DC.DUF if you want the entire hair to change colour

    Can we get a screen capture of the Scene tab and the Mat files?

    No, if the items load the textures should also.

    @jonas_haag9

    If clothing or hair never comes up textured, it may just be your viewport settings. You need to have Texture Shaded selected as shown below.

    Where are you trying to load the Material for the SallyMae hair from, and can you post a screenshot?

    Here is what mine looks like in the Content Library pane, with the Lilac mat loaded.

    To Apply a Material to any item in DS its just select the item in Scene tab and then apply the Material. You were doing what is needed to apply a Shader to a Material Zone of a item. That is a different thing than a material made for the Item.

    Some Items DO require that but only if the Textures come in Shader form.
