Just want to use head in Bryce from Daz Studio figure - SOLVED

As titel says, I want to just use the head in Bryce 7, of a character originally created in Daz Studio 4.6.
I have sent the figure to Bryce and that works fine. But when i try to box in the character I do four things;
1. Make the figure positive
2. Make the box negative
3. Leave the head out of the box
4. Group them.

The result I want is just a floating head.
What I get is a large grey box, with a head....

Any suggestions what I should/could do?

    I do understand what you are saying.

    However you are not using the Boolean operation in the correct way. I presume that your figure is comprised of a group of meshes, not one singel mesh. You need to ungroup the meshes, as boolean groups need all meshes i to be made either Positive.or Negative before they are grouped.

    I don't actually use DS, but when I export , for instance, a M4 character out of DS it comes into Bryce with 29 separate meshes in a group.

    If I wanted just the head I would simply delete the unwanted meshes without the need for using a boolean operation.

    Thx a lot chohole!
    The ungrouping and deleting did the trick. Great!
