Fitting clothing to a heavily modified v4.2

edited August 2013 in New Users

I'm trying to fit this "outfit" onto my character http://www.renderosity.com/mod/freestuff/details.php?item_id=57624

Its my first attempt at fitting clothing to a character, but the thing is I've extensively modified the proportions of her body, does clothing only fit onto the default v4 shape?

Also would posting pics so people can see what the problem is be an option, would a figure wearing something so revealing break this forums rules on nudity?

You could select the clothing, and use the Transfer Active Morphs option form the Parameters pane drop down menu.

This used to be called Morph Follower in earlier versions, and it transfers the morphs used on the figure into the clothing. It may help a little at least.

Make the figure all white, instead of skin coloured, or even bright blue or the like to contrast with the clothing and the TOS wil be unbroken.

You may be able to manage with the Transfer Active Morphs tool - apply the clothes to a morphed V4, then right-click on the figure and select Transfer Active Morphs from the menu.

ok, tried transferring active morphs, it actually made the fit much, much worse

re: turning the figure white, would uploading screenshots taken from "smooth shaded view" be an acceptable method?
