I downloaded Daz 4.0 and installed it, but I don't have any content at all. No models, no nothing. So where do I start? Do I need to buy something, and if so, what? I could follow the tutorials, but they assume I already have a model to work with. Please help! I really want to learn this software!

why did you decide to download 4.0 instead of 4.6

DAZ is the company, Studio is the app and it should be Studio 4.6. But check your account here {top right hand}, and select the products list. You should find the starter essentials which will give you content to start.

Then it's spend spend spend. ;-)

There are two separate files that you need to download and install, Genesis Starter Essentials and Genesis 2 Female Starter Essentials, and both should be available in your My Account area under Product Library.

If you need any further help, please post again.

Thank you. And I did download 4.6. That's what I meant to say. I've found the Genesis starter stuff, so now I should be okay. Again, thanks.
