[SOLVED] Very frustrated with DIM!! Cannot find files after installation!!
I usually download my files via email and install them manually, but somehow my downloads keep failing halfway this time. So I had no choice but to try DIM and got my files downloaded (I purchased Sayaka).
The eye and body morphs work fine but when I try out the others it says 'cannot locate file'. I understand that this is because DIM uses a path which isn't the default. So I changed the installation in DIM to (use account)/documents/daz 3d/studio/my library and it still can't find them!!
Can someone please tell me how to solve this problem?

Is this the item that you bought : http://www.daz3d.com/sayaka
If so, it is a character for Victoria 4, and it requires you to have Morphs++ installed as well in the same library. Do you have Victoria 4 and Morphs++ installed in /documents/daz 3d/studio/my library which you quoted as the install path above?
Ah, I see that there are head and body morphs for Genesis as well now. What exactly are you trying to load when you get the errors?
I don't have this item, but I would imagine that the Genesis morphs are sliders in the Parameters pane under Actor.
Can you please post a complete error message so that I can see what the program is looking for?
Hi JimmyC,
I am wondering if they have or need these products for sayaka to work: If not maybe that is what the error message might be :-(.

Thanks islandgurl31, it could be that as well. It is unusual to see a character for Genesis and V4 too, especially the older ones.
Hopefully we will hear soon.
Thanks, I have victoria 4.2 base and morphs ++.
When trying to load, I get a whole list of errors, one by one. They are something like "Could not find file: Sayaka_Torso.jpg" and so on.
The morphs I loaded that gave these errors are !MAT_apply, all the teeth, lips and nails morphs, etc.
I don't think these teeth morphs and so on need to be downloaded separately because they are listed in the What's Included section.
UPDATE: I searched my computer and found that the required files are still located at the Public Documents folder!!! What should I do, change the installation path and reinstall (though I've already done this), or simply copy and paste?
It would be best to uninstall them from the Public Documents folder, then reinstall to My Library. Just make sure to change the install path before you reinstall. You can have as many install paths as you need in the DIM, it is just a case of creating them, and making sure that they are selected before installing anything.
Many thanks, I've since resolved this by deleting and reinstalling all content into the default DAZ folder, which might not be recommended by some more experienced users, but i guess it did the trick again. Much appreciated on the help!
