Glitch in Aniblock?

I'm applying a walk aniblock to a toon generation 2 figure and for some reason it walks with the arms out wide from the body. Is this an issue of an older aniblock not jibing to the bone of a G3 figure? Any workaround? Another glitch is that the figure always jumps location each time the cycle repeats.

I've read that if you do the following it will work:

    1) Load Genesis (male or female)

    2) Load desired aniblock

    3) Save as animation pose preset

    4) delete the Genesis

    5) Load Genesis 3 character

    6) Load the animation pose preset saved in step 3

While it would no longer be an aniBlock format I read that it does work correctly.

Thanks. I'm giving this a try.  How is the post preset applied back to a different character?  When I "merge" the save aniblock onto a G3 figure, the figure just adopts a static pose...the last frame of the aniblock. Is there a different way to do this? I don't see the saved post preset as an option in the smart content folder.
