Dforce clothing, can it be auto-fit?

Can the new dForce clothing be Auto-fit cloned or UV mapped (I think that's the proper term) to older models such as Michael 4, Freak, Veronica 4 or any other Genesis variant?

UV mapped is about textures, so nothing to do with autofit.

Autofit doesn't exist for generation 4 figures and earlier, only for the various versions of Genesis. If you have clones to go backwards (they're not included by default), you should be able to autofit G8 dForce clothes to earlier versions of Genesis then use dForce. As usual, how good the result is will depend on the clothes.

You can also pose the figure to fit inside the clothes, or pose the clothes to fit on the figure, or both, in frame 0; apply the desired final pose in frame 30 (say); turn off the start from memorised pose option and turn on the option to simulate the play range in Simulation Settings.

I'm sorry I'm still learning about the D Force. I'm not sure what you're talking about in reference to frame 0 to frame 30. The only thing I know that uses frames is animation but I could be wrong on this. Is that what you're referring?

That's right, you do an animation from a pose that fits inside the clothing to the pose you actually want. You can do the same by posing the figure to fit in the clothing, Edit>Figure>Memeorise>Mmeorise Pose, apply the pose you want, and simulate starting from the memorised pose (which is the default behaviour). The idea is that rather than relying on conforming the figure moves into poisition and carries the clothes with it.

That's very interesting tip. I've not animated anything yet in Daz, I'll have to read up a little on it first before I attempt that. Thank you I'll come back to this tip in the future.
