legal stuff, copy rights, exporting, etc.. question
Hi, im new to DAZ
Im planing to do this thing please tell me if it is right or wrong..
Im planing to (in DAZ3d) posing a model, then exporte it with texture, import it in 3dsmax, render qook some textures, export all of that to some game engine and then offer that game demo for free.
Can I do that or is illegal ? should I pay something additional to DAZ in order to do that legally?
Big thanks

Yes you can do it but you would need to purchase a game developer license.
thanks..
I just found these two that may suit good for me:
A.- Indie game developer (you can use content made by DAZ, as far as I understood)
B.- Indie game developer (you can use content by "RawArt")
Still have some doubts. I I choose A and I later want to user some content from other 3D models company, how could that be done? will not be enough to pay for that model, stuff, etc?
and second question (considering im relatively new to DAZ) what is better "RawArt" or DAZ models?
Thanks again.
Since nearly all of the RawArt items are based on the DAZ figures you'd need both licenses to use his content. To use content you need both a regular store license for the content and a game license for the artist - assuming you are placing the content in the game, in modified for, as 3D data (2D sprites and the like are covered by the basic license).
Also, keep in mind that RawArt's gamedev license is for one game/project only. The Daz gamedev license allows multiple uses.
