V4 morph to G8 or G3

I tried searching for a tutorial on how to transfer morphs from V4 to G8F or G3F and most are refering to the product Gen X. 35$ isn't too cheap though and I'm wondering if there is another way.

Would it be enough to make a V4 clone for G8F and can I put V4 morphs to this clone then?

It should be the same method as G3 morphs to G8, honestly I didn't try Millennium 4 figures yet.

That didn't work out too well mainly because it's impossible to pose V4 to G3F.

I use the GenX product personally. It's a great easy way to convert the older figures and move them up. I haven't paid attention to whether the store goes on sale anymore since the vendor passed away so I don't know if GenX will ever go on sale again. Of course, that means it isn't being updated either so it stops at Genesis 3. However, if you want to try converting them yourself, you might find Gigi's thread useful. Also Katey's thread on manually converting from Genesis up the line.
