How can I keep the headlamp in my scene?

I am lighting a scene with very low spots, but now I have added them the headlamp has gone so my scene is very dark in the viewport and I can't see to pose anything! How can I get the headlamp back?

    A quick solution is just to turn off the preview lights option in the windows menu while you're posing objects and turn it back on when you're adjusting the lights.

    ctrl + L or Window - Preview Lights
