Dynamic Clothing Control disappeared

HI,
I am using 4.6.3.52 Pro Edition for Mac 32 bit. I have purchased Dynamic Clothing Control several years ago. I used to be able to use it on all my dynamic clothing collection over the years. But after I re-install the dynamic clothing control from my purchase history. The purchased version of my Dynamic Clothing Control has just gone. It seems that now the new Dynamic Clothing Control is a newer version, so it is not compatible with us veteran version of DS anymore. Oh my god how can this be happening? No wind, no control over the clothing? Please advise how I can get back my older version of Dynamic Clothing Control if that is the problem, the auto-install would just give me the latest version and it wouldn't work with my DS4.6. Help!

The new download would have been the 4.10.0.123 version, which won't work in 4.6.3.52
So does it mean that my purchase just disappeared forever? Because I really am intimidated to upgrade my current version of DS, because that would disable some other stuffs and causes mal functions here and there just the same.
You could install the Public beta version, but then you'd have to use the dynamic clothign plug-in in that version not the 4.6 release version (unless you kept a back up of the old installer).
Where may I find the Public beta version of DS? It is the latest version of DS right? But if the 4.6 is installed in the same laptop, would the 2 DS confuse each other when I open a second version of the Dynamic Clothing Control?
( the reason why I keep and love my old DS 32 bit Mac version is because it has Lip-Sync built in. before I lost my Full version of Dynamic Clothing Control, it is just super, now the characters can talk but no wind for clothings, I regret sooo much for thinking I had upgraded the Dynamic Clothing Control )
BY the way, I read about people saying that the DS4_DynamicCloithingControl_1.3.0.15 is the most popular version of Dynamic Clothing Control, would that work for Mac 32 work in my DS 4.6.3.52 Pro Edition ?
Actually, if I install any version, for instance the DS4_DynamicClothingControl_1.3.0.15, it will overwrite not just the purchased version but ALSO the Basic Dynamic Clothing Control, does it? I am so afraid that if I install another version, whatever version it is, it will take away the Basic Dynamic Clothing Control that I am left with right now, then I shall have NONE dynamic Clothing built in my DS, and that would be the end of the world, almost.
No such thing as "most popular version" of the DCC plugin — it gets updated every time there's a DAZ|Studio version update, so the two must match as a pair. As you've found, when the two don't match, the plugin doesn't work. Look at the final two numbers of the version number; e.g. the current D|S version is 4.10.0.123 so the plugin version that works with it must end in ".0.123".
Doesn't work that way, fortunately. The basic Dynamics plugin is part of the D|S program installer, so if anything happens to it (or any of the other default plugins), all you need to do is reinstall the D|S program. This does not affect your current content files, content database, content location settings, or program settings; these are all stored separately from the program folder, so they're unaffected by a reinstall.
But, if I ever reinstall the DS program from Daz 3D, it's gonna be the latest version, they never provide downloading of the older versions.
May I ask where are the files of the Basic Dynamic Clothing and those of the Dynamic Clothing Control are stored, I may go there and save a copy, so that even if anything went wrong, I would still have the Basic Dynamic Clothing for sure.
That isn't your only option — you can download the installer (and the plugin installer) from your Program Library page. That's what a lot of us old-timers do, I have dozens of installers going back to the early public beta versions of DAZ|Studio.
As for the location of the plugins, they're in a Plugins folder in the D|S program folder (in Program Files or Program Files (x86) depending on whether you have the 32-bit or 64-bit version if D|S).
Whoops, I was wrong earlier; when you install the full plugin, the basic plugin isn't removed, it's only renamed. The file names in my folder are "dzoptitexclothcontrol.dll" and "dzoptitexclothbasic.dll.basic". If you ever want to revert to the basic plugin, simply remove the ".basic" from the end of that file name, and add something else e.g. ".full" to the end of the other file name. Don't forget the ".", it's important. You should never try to run D|S with both plugins in an active state; some people have managed to do that, and you end up with neither of them working.
When I go online to my Daz studio account, I only see Product Library for downloading my purchases, i do not see a Program Library, where can I find it?
In my plug-ins file, currently I only have libdzoptitexclothbasic.dylib for dynamic clothing. If I ever download Dynamic Clothing Control again, I suppose this will be overwritten?
I really do not have a "Program File" in my Daz3D file in my Documents in my laptop!
It will be renamed, so DS doesn't see it as a plug-in, but the file will stay.

No, it won't be overwritten — see my post upthread. The inactive plugin will be renamed so that D|S doesn't see it as a valid plugin file.
And... if your plugins have a ".dylib" extension, then you're using a Mac. Didn't notice that before (the plugin files on a Win machine have a .dll extension, but they work exactly the same). I haven't used a Mac for a very long time, I'm not sure if that'll make a difference to what I was saying.
