Re-install Studio question

I need to reformat my HD and I want to know this: after re-installing studio can I just copy my library folder into DAZ to have my scenes back?

    Yes, if you didn't use the default content location you'll need to tell DS the content location. If you have custom categorization you'll want to Export User Data so you can restore that as well.

    Since I'm doing a clean re-install I'd like to give DIM another chance. So, should I install DIM first and then use it to install Studio?

    yes you can install DIM and then DS. I prefer to do it the other way but I don't see you having any problems.
