delay in Parameters dials

Hi,

Can someone tell me why the sliders in the Parameters tab are slow to unresponsive (a ridiculously delayed reaction). I'm using Genesis Basic male that I adjusted to child size but nothing remarkable. I'm on Mac OSX and have no other programs running so memory is not an issue. No other characters seem to be affected this way. I've reloaded DS, even shut down and restarted the Mac but the problem persists.

    Is the kid wearing any clothes with mesh smoothing added? Some such items have interactive updates checked, which means they update every time there's a change in the figure, whether moving it, shaping it or posing it. Unchecking this should solve your problems if that is the case. If this occurs on the naked figure then I'm really at a loss. No slider should have a noticeable performance impact compared to others as they're all handled the same way internally.

    I have found similar sluggishness with hair that has collision on. I usually turn off collision and smoothing until the posing is done then turn it back on.
