POSING PULL CHARACTER FROM HIPS

Hi Guys,

Just moved to this program from Poser and it seems a so far a more solid program,  but like with anything there will be things that you miss when you leave something for something else.

In Poser when you bring in a model, their feet are locked to the floor and so, you can just pull from the character's hips and bend their needs and so some degree start to pose their legs.  In DAZ it seems that the character's hips down are just floating, which is completely unnatural from reality and so it seems to make posing the legs more  difficult.  Am I doing something wrong?  Is there a way to do this is DAZ?  People rarely stand with their legs locked, so I always start with a little knee bend and want to find a fast way to do it here.

Please understand, this is my first day on this new platform, but everything else seems fairly intuitive.  Thanks in advance.  And ideas would be appreciated.  Ian

  • Sorry Guys,

Never mind.  I figured it out.  You have to pin the feet. (Just in case anyone else needs to know this.  Thanks...
