Total Daz3 Newbie - "Could not open file: File does not exist." ?

in New Users
I just downloaded Daz3. I have been using and am familiar with Poser, but would like to transition to Daz 3. I am trying to work myself through the Daz3 tutorials.
I used Daz Install Manager to install Daz3 and the Genesis 2 Starter essentials. I was trying to follow the "Barefoot Dancer" tutorial. My Barefoot dancer figure is not available in my Smart Content library. How can I get her in there?
Thanks for any help!
Anne

Are you using the default locations for content or have you edited them?
I probably edited them, as I don't want content to be installed on my internal, boot up hard drive.
I forget how to set the location for content?
OK, if you edited the path in DIM then you can tell DS to use the same location by downloading the script at http://docs.daz3d.com/doku.php/public/software/dazstudio/4/referenceguide/scripting/api_reference/samples/file_io/install_manager_config_import/start and dragging the file into the DS viewport.
I tried doing that, but got a message "No importer for the file format can be found.
Isn't there a way that I could tell DIM directly to access the already files I have downloaded for Poser?
DIM? Do you mean Daz Studio? DIM is not involved in telling Daz Studio where to find existing content. Anyway, the way to do that is to tell DS wheer your files are - right-click on the Poser Formats heading in Content Library, select Add New Runtime Directory, and select the folder you haev set in Poser as your external library (or main library) - you want the folder that contains the actual "Runtime" folder.
I got it! Than you! :-)
