How Do I Install Content Not Purchased From Daz?

I did search, but couldn't find an answer to this. 

I found a set of freebie eyeglasses that I'd like to try. I downloaded the file, and the ReadMe says to copy/merge the unzipped directories into my existing Daz library. I'm afraid I'm missing something here. The unzipped new content includes folders named My Library, with subfolders data, people, runtime, and all these have subfolders too. I'm afraid if I just do a drag-and-drop of the downloaded files onto my Daz files I'll wipe out everything there and wind up with just one item (the glasses). 

Should I go through each new directory and copy the contents into the corresponding existing directory instead?

You could also look at https://www.daz3d.com/content-package-assist to change the non-daz zips into DIM compatible packages which can be installed like regular daz content
