How do you avoid collision

Hello dear all,

another noob question from me: How do you avoid collision? Example is like hair with hat (see attached image below), or often also clothings, leggings, boots from different sets when one try to combine them.

    Those issues can certainly be challenging and there isn't really a one-size-fits-all solution. With layered clothing, often fitting the outer layer to the inner garment, and also setting it to collide with the inner layer, may solve the problem. In addition to that, you may also need to adjust the smoothing and collision modifiers. All these settings can be found on the Parameters pane.

    My hair tutorial (linked in my signature) has some suggestions on dealing with the hat and hair problem.

    Also, there are some products available that are designed to help in these situations. Which figure are you using?
