At 9:30 pm a few minutes ago, we found Finnigan, my cockatiel, dead in the bottom right corner of his cage. His food was scattered on the floor which indicates he had a night fright. He turned one year old three days ago, on St Patrick's Day, which is why I named him Finnigan. He only lived one year, three days. No bird deserves a short life like that.

Finnigan made me laugh last month, when he told himself to "Step up" then said, "There you go."  He put his head down and let me ruffle behind his crest and then turned his head for me to stroke the sides of his face at the same time, then one at a time. SUCH a sweetheart. I'll bury him tomorrow in the back yard, back in the corner under the lush bamboo. He'd like that.

    sorry for you

She's been gone a few months from the DAZ Store at least.

She's been gone a few months from the DAZ Store at least.

But quite a few of her DOs are still there, just rebranded as DOs without the artist name.

That PA is operating under a different name now-- though it would probably be best for her to reveal the details herself (if/when she is ready to say anything).

I asked the same question quite a while back and the response was that she was gone, I did notice her store was all under DO's now tho

I hope she lets us know where she's at, loved her work and followed her youtube channel faithfully.

Got a call, mom fell and hit her head at 4:10am and is on the way to the hospital. I'm having to wait a few minutes to put the dogs outside to go potty as don't know when I'll be back home. My sister is on the way to the hospital, she happened to be visiting from Jacksonville so thank goodness she was in town. Was leaving this morning. Gotta go, will keep you updated.

Well, good news, no fracture or breaks on her arm (top of arm, aka shoulder) and that head wound was glued and stripped and not stitched, because mom is allergic to all those "caine" medicines that would numb it. The doctor said NO WAY he would stitch anyone without pain meds. She got back to her specialized care at 10am this morning, my husband stayed with her until 2pm. The Administrator came in and of course tried to say someone was there helping her, and my husband had already been briefed that we had a Care Plan meeting just two days ago on Thursday and I had specifically stated I expected hands on HELP whenever mom was getting up and down from any sitting position. The nurse was standing there watching, NOT HELPING. And my sister and I were very, very specific about that. I had stated people are even more suceptible  to fall when going to the bathroom at night, when they're groggy.   The people in the meeting agreed and I mentioned mom was in physical therapy because she was wobbly getting up and during transfers to her wheelchair.

    Gotta go, thanks all. :)

Sorry to read about your mum but glad the way things turned out.

When my mum was in care they put a motion sensor beside her bed which set off an alarm as soon as she swung her legs out of the bed and a carer would go in and help her, she was usually going to the toilet. They also had pressure pads to put under the carpet that did the same thing.

Sorry about your mom Novika, Its very frustrating when the people who are supposed to be helping don't do their job.  Glad to hear that she is okay though

So question, what is the lowest price anyone has gotten on the Dragon Girl bundle? With the purple banner and a few things in my cart, it's $29.76

  • Charlie JudgeCharlie Judge Posts: 12,737

$29.76 is what I got it for.

I was sorting all the artists' catalogs in the sale, and went Price Low High. You can see some of the Free items, most are "meh" as they are so old.

Here's one with thermos, etc. And it's Iray.   Off To Work
