Moving from poser to DAZ

Hello, dear friends.
I've been a veteran poser user for the past decade or so, creating quite a few animations and comics as part of what I do for a living.
I had a layoff of a few years, and lately I've decided to dive back in. the market have grew and made some progress, of course, and I found out that my beloved software lacked the panoramic camera I desired (for VR360), so I've purchased octane plugin. that opened up a new road of learning/material tweaking etc, that sometimes can drive someone crazy and actually miss firefly.
on my come back I also found out about G3/g8 and that I can't use them in poser natively, which saddened me a lot. I like content. I buy tons of content all the time, and it seems many vendors passed to G3/G8.
so far for the prologue.
now for my questions:
I consider learning DAZ and making a gradual transition from poser to DAZ. this is a very hard desicion for me, but after rendering one time in IRAY a G8 female without tweaking anything whatsoever, I think I owe it to myself to give it a try. she came out stunningly realistic and it took my 1080TI 2 minutes to get the job done (basic IBL, nothing changed, basic and defualt settings.) I have a few questions, maybe you can help me:
1. is there any guide out there specifically for people who wish to make the transition?
2. can I get my content library from poser to DAZ and use the content I've collected during the years?
3. does DAZ have native panoramic camera (to create equirectangular image for VR360).
sigh. it's not going to be easy. but...its possible!
thank you all for your kind help.
Comments
1. I don't think so, there are probably threads discussing various aspects.
2. Yes, although some newer content (the extra fall-off options added in poser 8 and Poser weight-mapping) cannot be read by DS. In the Content Library right-click on the Poser Formats heading and select Add Runtime Directory, then navigate to the folder that holds the Runtime folder and select that (just like adding a new external library in Poser).
3. Not as far as I know, though I'm not sure what the requirements would be. Someone may have made one using Shader Mixer, however (cameras and lights are shaders).
Here are a couple of threads that might help you in regards to the 360VR thingy:
thanks, people! :)
