Compatability Question
I know this sort of thing has probably been gone over before, but I thought that specific examples of my issue would be good to throw out there so that people could give me an answer for my specific problem.
I have DAZ Studio 4.6 64-bit and am pulling up the Genesis 2 Female base. I then use the Victoria 4 for Genesis 2 Female UV
http://www.daz3d.com/victoria-4-for-genesis-2-female
in order to make the Genesis 2 Female compatible with V4 content. From there, having purchased the Kay pack
I then try to have the figure use the packs morphs and skins etc, but it will not take. I used the Install Manager to have these all installed so it should be in their right places, but I find that the Kay pack is in a poser section, and has INJ and REM as part of it's icons.
Is this right? Or have I made some sort of mistake that can't be fixed?
Thank you

The morphs (the INJ and REM files) will not work on G2F. To use the skin textures, you need to first load them on V4 (or Genesis 1 if you don't have V4) and save them as a material preset. Then you can apply that material preset to G2F.
Thank you. Though I am not entirely sure how to do that, I will play with adding the INJ to the Genesis 1 Figure and saving it to see what I can do. I appreciate your answer. ^_^
You can ONLY use the Textures on Genesis1 and Genesis2 (2 once saved as duf format) The morphs will not INJ into Genesis1. You will need to get the GenX plugin and other needed files to transfer the Morphs(inj) to Genesis1 and then hand transfer those files by hand to the Genesis2 figure. Moprhs are NOT transferable from by default form on mesh generation to the next.
V4 is generation 4, Genesis1 is generation 5, Genesis2 is generation 6. Each is different and each needs morphs made for or Transfered properly to them either by hand or with a tool. GenX is getting Genesis2 support as I type this.
