Preventing view jumping...
I hoping there is a solution to an annoyance I am experiencing when navigating through the scene. For the lack of words I can only call it "View Jumping".
Let's say you are working in activity "lights and cameras", then you need to switch to activity "pose and animate". What I am observing is that the software keeps memory of the last view you were working in while in that activity. So I could be setting up a light in a current view to place the light and then suddenly decide, "you know I need something from 'pose and animate'", but I don't want to lose the current view, but software immediately switches to the view you were previously working when were previously in "pose and animate" rather just staying where you currently are or viewing.
I need the software to stick with one view at all times no matter what activity I switch to on a whim.
Is there a way to do this in order to prevent "view jumping"?
I thank you in advance for your replies and knowledge sharing.

I discovered what I was doing wrong or what was causing the behavior.
I move around alot in the view selection in any one activity.
I leave animate and pose activity from a light view and then jump to rendering where it is camera view thinking it should still be in light view. All I have to do is switch back to the previous view from the new activity to regain the perspective I was in and did not want to change.
It sounds like you have different camera views set up. If you get a different camera view when you switch panes, check to see which camera you are using. If you have the posing pane set to default camera then switch to the lighting pane, that pane may be set to perspective or other camera. If it is, you can change to another camera using the down arrow next to the camera name.
