Can I save .obj files in DS?

Hi, I downloaded a 3D model (chair) but it had no instructions as to where to save the files - there is a folder with a texture .jpg file and two loose .mtl and .obj files. Apparently it will work in DS if I can figure out how to save it.

Thanks!

    steffany,
I have a directory called My objects. In there I have sub directories for furniture and below that I have directories for each object, (chairs, tables, lamps) I have.

So first create such a directory.
Copy the obj, mtl and textures into their directory.
Click on your content Library tab and look for the arrow with 4 lines button up at the top right.
    Click on Content Directory Manager.
Click right on "Other Import Formats" and select Add a Base Directory. You want this to be high enough that all of the obj directories you create can be seen. So my base directory is My objects.
    Click on Accept.
Click on the arrow with 4 lines button again and this time select Scan Known Directories for Files. When it is done searching you will now have new information in the Default categories if you use the content library and you will also have new information under the Other Import Formats.
You can now go to the directory through the content library to the directory that has your new obj. Click on the new icon and DAZ will import the obj and use the mtl file to texturize the surface of the obj.

If you want a thumb for the new icon then under Render settings
set you render up for a 91 by 91 pixel file.
for Folder browse to the directory of obj.
Type the same name as the obj has minus the .obj. Choose .png format
Select the Image File radial button.
    Click on the Render button.
In the content library go to the directory where the obj file is and right click in the window where the icon is and select refresh. You should now have a pretty picture of your new chair.
