How do I make a car?

I made a scalawagon prototype in TinkerCad, an on-line boolean modeler.
(See my attached picture showing the surface chunky facetedness of it's boolean construction.)
Now I want to make a better version that does not have the flaws of boolean modeling. How do other people make decent car models?

well it depends on what software you want to use
you can box model then add smoothing in Hexagon and Carrara
you could make it in Carrara's spline room possibly but I don't know how
or out of metaballs
you could use Sculptris and model it like clay
or software that uses NURBS which many car modellers seem to prefer

Believe it or not, the Carrara 5 Handbook has a Hexagon tutorial on modeling a car.
