Hi! I have some quetions about Daz3D...

1. Can I edit the textures of a purchased item? Or doing that I break any Daz rule?

2. Is posible to edit especific parts of a model? By example this picture, the straps of the outfit are not totally visible...

Can I fix this without reducing the breasts size of the model? :P
Sorry for my ignorance.

Thanks.

    1. You are free to edit the textures of any purchesed item as you wish, as long as they are for personal use and not redistributed.

    2. The problem with the bra straps can be easily fixed by selecting the clothing item, then Edit > Figure > Geometry > Apply Smoothing Modifier. That may be sufficient alone to remove the issue. If not, then, with the item still selected, go into the parameters tab and under the item, General > Mesh Smoothing, select Collision Item and select the figure (G8F or whatever you are using there). Both smoothing and collision can be adjusted by selecting Smoothing Iterations or Collision Iterations respectively, if necessary - use sparingly until the pokethrough issue is resolved. Test the results using a spot render to ensure the problem has been resolved prior to doing a final render. (Sometimes everything looks fine in the viewport, but some pokethrough still occurs in a render)

To be precise, if you just want to edit the exisitng texture then, as SixDs said it is just for your personal use.  If however you wish to make a completely new texture, which woulld be distributable, then Daz 3d supply you with a template, which you can use to make a new texture in a paint program of your choice.  Templates can be found in your product library
