Soft Focus

in New Users

Whenever I render in Daz Studio I find the final render has a slightly soft focus, I then have to sharpen it in a photo editing app, is there something I may be doing wrong in Daz Studio that’s making this happen?

    For Iray, check the settings for Filter in Render Settings. Default is Gaussian 1.5. Lowering the value to 1.0 will be sharper.

    If your camera has DOF turned on in Parameters, make sure your focal distance is correct and f-stop is large enough to include everything you want in focus.

    Render long enough to clear the noise out of the scene.
