Built In Content
I'm sure this has been covered previously, but I can't find it or have prob overlooked it, so please bear with me. I'm currently using DS 4.5.1.56 Pro. In the previous version I had a folder "Built In Content" which contained some Uber lights, area and environmental. They were applied to surfaces like shaders. Did they go away with 4.5? If so, is there a way I can recover them?

Look in DAZ Studio Formats>My Library>Light Presets Should have all the Free content in it.
Thank you for the prompt response. Here's a SC of My Library. The only Uber I could find was for presets, which is a compilation of spot and distance lights, and not what I'm looking for.
Did you install Genesis Starter Essentials? I believe at one point there was some confusion over whether the Uber content was included in the application installer or GSE, but I'm pretty sure it's in GSE now.
No I haven't. I'm off to check it out.
The lighting I've been looking for is now included in the Uber Lighting Bundle and the Uber Shader Pack. Oh well.
If they were in Built-in-Content in DS4.0 they should be in Genesis Starter Essentials
Yes they are still there did you look in the Content Library (not Smart Content) Pane under Daz Studio Formats > My Library (oh whatever you library is called) > Light presets > omnifreaker >
In the Smart Content Pane they are under (In File mode) Default (again or what ever you libaray is called) > Lights > Other
And if it is Area lighting you want and want to know more http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/14536/
Yay! The experts come through once again. Unbeknownst to me ( in other words, I completely forgot!), I previously DLd the GSE but never installed it. Once I did that, BAM! there they were in Smart Content. Man do I feel like a total Kanklefritz.
