What's better - V4 for Genesis or for Genesis2?

Now that there is yet another option, which would you get - V4 for Genesis (assuming all V4 content will fit as promised) or V4 for Genesis2 (not sure about the old content)?

As tempting as it is to get the G2 version, I'd like to be able to use the older content too.

    It's hard to compare them, because the two products are not as similar as the names suggest.

    V4 and M4 Shapes for Genesis contains the V4 shape (to make Genesis look like V4). V4 for Genesis 2 Female contains the V4 shape (to make Genesis 2 Female look like V4). But that's pretty much where the similarities end.

    V4 and M4 Shapes for Genesis also contains the M4 shape. Additionally, it will allow you to use V4 characters (morphs) on Genesis...if you own Genesis Generation X. It does NOT provide the ability to use V4 skin textures on Genesis, or AutoFit V4 clothing to Genesis, because Genesis already can do these things.

    V4 for Genesis 2 Female does allow you to AutoFit V4 clothing to G2F. and provides the ability to use V4 skin textures on Genesis. At the moment, there is no equivalent to Genesis Generation X that works with G2F, but supposedly one is in the works.

    I don't own V4 for Genesis 2 Female yet, but from what I have heard, V4 clothing AutoFits to Genesis 2 Female somewhat better than it does to Genesis. It is NOT true that "all V4 content will fit," at least not perfectly. AutoFit results vary, and (at least as far as the original Genesis figure is concerned) shoes, skirts, dresses, and long coats usually do not convert as well as other types of clothing.
